You need to configure the http cache.

You need to decide where the cache should be stored.
The cache must be stored in its own directory.
The directory should NOT be cleared when you reboot.
The default is /root/.xmltv/cache

Har gentoo, har lwp (libwww-perl) och någon av de senare stabila versionerna av perl , installerat HTTP-Cache-crapet själv eftersom detta inte fanns i portage.
