Adding more channels to grabber - 2008-10-04 19:19 Mattias,

A suggestion / question..

There are many channels missing in the grabber compared to the larger packages from e.g. Canal+

I read in post from you in another part of the forum that you were careful to get permission before adding channels to Tv-guide.

As grabbers are for personal use would it be possible for you (remaining within copyright laws?) to add all channels grabbed from e.g. canalplus.se?

This would help all those (like me) who are looking for bbc prime, etc.

We had this discussion with Comhem some time ago, and they bought their data from someone else and they didn't have permission to let us use their data even if they wanted to. I think that the situation is the same with Canal+.

If you are using the xmltv grabber and there is data available from another grabber, you can always use tv_grab_combiner to combine data from several grabbers.
